Oklahoma senior center and All-America candidate is one of the finalists for the 2013 Wuerffel Trophy, presented annually to the college football player who best combines exemplary community service outstanding athletic and academic achievement.
Ikard is a four-year starter at Oklahoma. He began his collegiate career in 2010 as an offensive guard. He moved to the center position midway through the 2011 season. Ikard also was a finalist for the Wueffel Trophy last year in his junior season. He is one of eight finalists for this year’s award.
The winner will be announced on Dec. 10.
